This past couple weeks, I began to reflect on my journey so far in this semester, both in realms of my public speaking/presentation with my most recent speech on my research, but also my endeavors throughout the year in regards to my understanding of Tommy John surgery. I have begun my research paper that will serve as my Original Work on the aspects of Tommy John in many different forms, such as the physician in addition to the applicable real-world view of the patient. I have further realized my passion for the material, and I have seen success in learning something and wanting to learn more on that specific thing, leading me into an endless loop into what will become my work. I have taken advice on structuring my ideas from not only my family members but also fellow ISM peers, who have felt the same way when working on their projects. It is incredible how the program is structured in that way if one does it right. These next couple weeks will not just be gaining and releasing information, rather pursuing a work meeting a guideline similar to the goal I set on myself at the beginning of this program, with refining my knowledge and data in a way to create interest for those around me.
